GME’s company members and national associations met in Brussels on 17–18 November for the 2025 Autumn Meeting, an important occasion to exchange views on the key challenges and developments currently shaping the growing media sector.

After a general update on Public Affairs and Science, experts from Rud Pedersen delivered an in-depth media training session, providing insightful and practical tools to strengthen our communication and engagement with audiences and media across Europe.

The highlight of the two-day programme was the Lunch Debate held in the European Parliament, hosted by MEP Jessika van Leeuwen (EPP, NL) under the title: “Growing Media – a pillar for EU sustainable food systems and healthy diets.”

The event offered an opportunity to explore how the growing media industry contributes to healthier eating habits, smarter plant production, reduced food waste, and greater European self-reliance.

The event also highlighted the importance of continuous dialogue with policy-makers and the crucial role of bringing the voice of growing media producers to the attention of EU institutions.

The GME team warmly thanks all participants for sharing valuable insights and actively contributing to the success of these two days together.

See you at the 2026 Spring Meeting!
